You can manifest your dreams; I have been doing it unconsciously for years. My career as a nurse actually started when I was 4 or 5. I remember telling everyone I wanted to help people and I was going to be a nurse. Now at times I said I was also going to be an airline stewardess part-time so I could travel the world and a veterinarian so I could help animals but nurse was always a part of all the things I would do. No one told me I couldn’t do it. I remember having a nurse’s hat and cape (like Florence Nightingale) and a toy doctor’s bag with a stethoscope, thermometer and other implements and giving everyone in the family, all my dolls and stuffed animals a check-up when I was 6 or 7 years old. As I got older I settled on one career, nursing. Even in junior high school I took the science electives to prepare me for nursing school. Everything I did and thought was about becoming a nurse. I could see myself in the hospital helping others, I could feel the pleasure and pride in myself for serving others. There was never a plan B or any doubt what I was going to do with my life. I was an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) one month after turning 19. I was a registered nurse at the age of 21 and loved my work.
Another dream I had was to be married by age 25. I was actually engaged to my high school sweetheart with the stipulation I would finish college first. However college helped me to see things from a different perspective and we did not marry. Instead I was able to release what was to be to the universe. It turned out that I met my husband on my first RN job at a hospital. He was a technician there at the time. After dating for almost 4 years we were married 2 months before my 25th birthday. Another dream manifested!
Now all of this occurred before I knew about the power of intention, thoughts and energy but I had done it all intuitively. When my daughter Paula decided her dream was to work in Disneyland Paris we made a plan to help her manifest it. I told her to create a vision board of what she wanted. Every day she wrote – “I work at Disneyland Paris,” and talked like she already had the job. She also rehearsed some dance steps from previous Disneyland auditions she had went to in Anaheim. While auditioning for Disneyland she never made it past the second round but when Disneyland Paris did auditions she made it through to the end! There were other interviews after that as well. She got her dream job and is working in Disneyland Paris. We were able to manifest our dreams by our thoughts and actions and you can manifest your dreams too!
